Release Info

The inspiration behind the latest Silent Season EP was that of minimalism and a sense of depth in the body of the records. Silent Season is the label owner Glenn Morrison’s alias and this release blurs the ambient modal keyboard playing with that of thoughtful, well tempered house grooves. “The Quest” immediately sets a vast overtone with angelic bell twinkles and an earthy warm sustained pad. The baseline is rich and beautiful in its overtones, and this record has a lot of raw energy to it. “Glycerin” has a very hazy vibe to it, a forlorn and yet hopeful piece that has such a delicate balance in the mix down approach – minimalism but yet extremely expansive at the same time.
