Release Info

Just in time for the IMS Conference in Ibiza comes a juggernaut peak time techno record courtesy of the incredible Darren Emerson. He has the Midas touch, and his perspective on rave culture and dance music throughout the 90’s until today has forever imprinted the electronic music landscape (cough ‘Born Slippy’ cough). It is with great honour and respect for his art that we are proud to not only have him on the label roster, but also have him delivering blisteringly hot peak time dark room records such as his remix and interpretation of Glenn Morrison’s ‘Tough Love’. That ebb and flow on a psychological tension and release level is ever present throughout this record, and those warped hollow vocals in the midsection really carry this to journey mindbending material. The build and sound design is unreal, and when listened to in the right element, and loud, this will create pandemonium in the cool venues. We have already had a terrific radio campaign in the UK, with both Annie Mac (BBC Radio1), and B Traits (BBC Radio1) supporting the record. It has also on first week of promo entered at Number 7 in the Top 10 DMC World Charts, sitting in good company alongside Loco Dice, Yolanda Be Cool, and Defected Records. For all information concerning Darren Emerson please use your friendly google and check out his respective pages and upcoming tour dates. Lastly and at the time of this writing, we have around 90 double pack limited edition vinyl records left for sale through our website at
